I am honored to have been selected by 3 different bloggers for the Sunshine Blogger Award. I am going to attempt in order of nominations, to thank each person and answer all the questions asked of me (whoo). 

First thank you to Phil at Life Plan. He is always posting motivational quotes that really get you thinking. Not to mention his desire to really interact within the WordPress Community. He desires to learn other bloggers, and makes posts that allow that to happen. If you have not happened upon his site, I would check it out for some good feelers on a crummy day. 

Then there is Nel, if you don’t know of her I would be surprised. She is in love with books, and has done many book tags. Her blog is a little bit of everything, she has photos, the daily prompt, and really enjoys interacting with others here as well. She has made a stamp within WordPress. She has a charisma about her, and it shows. Check her out if you have not. You will not be dissapointed. 

Then last, but certainly not least there is Debbie. One of my all time favorites here on WordPress. She an inspirational poetic writer. Her words so eloqeunt, and always glorifying to God. She has beautiful pictures that go along with each write as well. She is a well written poetic delight. I love her posts, and draw my own inspiration from them daily. If you have not been to her site check out for inspiration and hope seeping through each word she writes.

10 questions for the nominees

Questions asked by Phil:

1.Tell me about the most interesting person you’ve ever met.

I have met a lot of famous Christian musicians, that are sincere and true to the gift God has given them. 

2. If you could take a week and travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

 I have always wanted to travel a remote island with few people, a cabana to sleep in and the sea to wake too. Sitting with my husband sea side as the sunrises, and sets

3. What is the one truly defining moment of your life so far?

When I gave God back control of my life after my marriage of 21 years fell out from under me. I then had to reinvent myself because all I was and was defined in, and knew was my ex husband from the age 19-40. Hardest thing I have ever done. 

4. What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve done lately?

Lately since I have seizures a lot not too many spotanteous things can be done. It is too bad, because by nature I am a spontaneous person.

5. Who has influenced you the most?

Hands down God, and his presence and guiding in my life through His word, and teachings. 

6. What is the one thing you most want to do?

Get back out on my Mountian Bike!! 

7. What is your best inherited quality?

I have always been told I am compassionate, I love people. I have a huge heart for all people in very walk of life. Young to old. Especially older people though, I have a soft heart for the elderly. As well as perseverance, I have come far in life with many a trial. Always when I say I can’t do much more I amaze myself, and persevere through more with the strength of God. Nothing in an of myself. I am nothing without him!! He amazes me!!  

8. Name your favorite thinker.

I have a few literally authrors that are my favorites whom I read daily. They always get me thinking. Charles Spurgeon, Oswald Chambers, C.S. Lewis, and A.W. Tozer. Those are just a few. I read a lot of inspirational quotes, and daily devotional readings. 

9. Who is your favorite historical figure?

Jesus

10. Have you been to any good musical performances lately?

The last most recent is not recent in today’s times. I saw Nirvana, and Soundgarden back in 1994. They were by far the best concerts I have seen live. 

11. What type of vacation do you prefer? Are you a relaxer or an explorer? 

I would love the best of both. I have always been an adventure junkie for a long time. So someplace I can go explore during the early morning hours and come back to and just relax soaking up the sun.

    Neither live for today to Glorify God with all I have got, the end!

    If you get a chance to watch any war that happened in the past live Which war would you choose n Why?

    I would not want to watch a war. Although I love Band of Brother’s. I have watched it numerous times. I love the real life stories of the soldiers at the end. 

      Share any adventurous or risky thing that you ever did. 

      Moutain Biking Beacon Hill. Known for jumps, ramps, rocks, cliffs, a wilderness park for avid mountain bikers with man made crazy jumps, and ramps. I went over a huge rock and put my breaks on, which that was no good. I hurt myself pretty bad. Bruised both knees really bad, and still rode out.  

        What gives you goosebumps every-time?

        Inspirational movies ie; Life of Pi,The Unbroken, Astronaut Farmer, Feild of Dreams, The Postman, I am Sam, Bridge to Teribihia, Lord of the Rings 

          A gift that you would love to receive anytime.

          Companionship, and just being goofy as goofy can be with that person 

          Your favorite topics to have a conversation on?

          Seahawks, Mountian Biking, Hiking, Houses

            One thing that you want to eliminate from your life completely.

            Anything not Glorifying God!!.

            Who is your favorite author and why?

            Too many to name, but here are a few. Charles Spurgeon, Oswald Chambers, C.S Lewis, Chuck Swindoll, Max Lucado, Beth Moore, and many more.

            What is your favorite place to travel?

            It has been awhile since I have traveled. Last year I camped a lot. Which I enjoy. I have places I want to go, and pray they come to pass.

            Do you have a signature family cooking recipe?

            Nope, my mother-in-law makes Whacky Cake. Best chocolate cake ever!!

            What is your favorite cartoon?

            As a kid it was He-man, and yes I am a girl. I even had a He-man action figure. Flintstones were my second favorite. Now none really.

            If you could have a conversation with someone living or dead who would it be?

            My dad, I would ask why he did not seek help when he became so desperate to take his life? 

            What is your favorite season and why?

            Summer, I love the sun and all the outdoor activities that come once the sun comes out. 

            Have you ever tried to write a song?

            Yes, I was married to a musician for 21 years. I am told I have a good voice. We did stuff together every now and again.

            What is your favorite family tradition?

            Opening one gift on Christmas Eve

            Why do you enjoy writing?

            It makes me feel alive inside, and I have loved it since I was a little girl. I find healing in writing as well.

            What is your dream career?
            Back up Dancer for Britney Spears (kidding). I have always wanted to be an author.

            Who is your favorite musical artist?

            So tough..I am eclectic, and love anything I can sing too. Probably Lifehouse

                1. Really? Omg my ex was offered a job to produce his radio show back in 02′. He declined as he was in school at the time. We owned Red Letter Radio Productions. Editing sermons from pastors though out the US and Russia sermons and making them radio worthy. How crazy. I love Chucks books, and his ministry.
