All in a doors work…

Doors, 100’s upon 100’s of doors. Interior, Exterior, all sizes, and dimensions. Every kind of wood you could ever imagine. Aisles walked for blocks of just doors. In this nifty little buliders surplus store. Hoping to find that diamond in the rough. Prices are crazy low. We looked, we pulled, we glazed over each one with our hands.

After a quite a long while, and our eyes seeing with distortion we came upon a Mahogany door. 32 wide, 76 high. To our surprise in this huge surplus of order we found our door for the making. Taken.

A work in progress we laid it in the back of the truck to bring home, and make use of our router. Hinges, and door knob hole etched out. Primer too. One step closer for the “For Sale” sign to be hung in our yard. All in a doors, I mean days work.

I write to tell my story of how I overcame self affliction, and great despair in this life. For I write to share the death to self that took place. That I may Glorify God in all I do. May my writings be a refelction of freedom, for I am no longer in captivity of self. May they be warm, and inviting. For I write because God has given me words that drip from my mouth to be seen.
