A hand, the sky and a God so much bigger than I…

As I begin you will read all that exposed me, and made me look up! I looked up, and raised my hand up from the mire. I extended my hand, as my body was buried under shame, and self affliction. I looked to the heavens, and to my God who was stronger than I. My frailty was no longer a match for this world. I was crushed by the rock that was higher than I. The rock fell on me breaking my very being. I caught a glimpse of the beautiful sky, and God said, “Lisa I am here”. So here is where I began. A hand, the sky and a God so much bigger than I.

You will find many ways I express myself in my writing. Writing styles you will find here are Non-fiction Empathetic, muic, Inspirational, and Chatty too. I am not a photographer by any means, but I do share the ones that are allusive with my writing. I hope you enjoy my blog. I am an author, and am multi-faceted in my articulations of self.

  1. Thank you so much forf the follow of my blog. I like your tag -‘cries from an unkempt garden’. It is very evocative. You do know that the wild corners are where the fae folk like to live – everyone should have one of those corners in their garden 🙂

    1. Thank you, and always looking for good reads. I was once a tarnished soul. One you would unrecognizable even if you knew me. Lost but found, God has always been my refuge. Just got a little off track when my life tragically changed. I handled it all wrong. Which I have always known better. I was sucker punched so hard, it was as if life left in that moment. I stopped caring. Now I free, and live oh so happily. Blessings in your blog. Write on!! ✌Lisa

  5. Whenever we compare our challenges and weaknesses to our God, we always come out triumphed and stronger than we started. We have a big God! I love the caption of this post, “A Hand, the Sky, and a God so Much Bigger Than I …

    1. Thank you mine is story of a young lady whom very much loved the Lord. Grew up in the church. Married young a P.K. grew up in the church together. I idolized him. He was my life. So when He failed our vows, and kept repeating his failure with no biblical counsel. I was beside myself. So instead of grabbing my kids, and separating. I fell apart, and then fell hard. Our marriage was a mess. 21 years, and I never gave up. He is not the same as he was. I am remarried now. His own dad whom is a pastor calls his son a narricist. It is a tragic story. Still waiting on hearts to be mended. On bended knee I pray for him to come back around. I truly believe he can’t forgive himself. I hope one day he can for my kids sake. They are almost 19, and 20. God will work out all the hurt to his glory. I never in my life thought I would divorce. I married a man after God’s own heart, whom treats me like Christ loved the church (8 months now). I will never again put anyone or thing above God. It has been 4 years since I became sober, and recommited my life to Glorify God in all I do until the end. Without Him I am nothing. Just another girl. So this is when God said write. So I write!! I don’t leave anything hidden. It is story God wants told. For it is His story as I am a living testimony of grace, and Christ’s unconditional love!! Amen!! Redeemed!!

    1. Thank you and all Glory to Him. For there is no greater love known to man!! He is our redeamer, and Lord of all!! He shed His blood so that we might have life eternal. My story is written as a living testiment of God in me, and His grace poured out on me after knowing Him, and then denying Him when life hit me hard. It is me coming to the realization I am nothing without Him. He has made persevere the storms of life. Blessings to you, and thank you for the sincere comment!!

    1. That verse is Matthew 21:44, He allowed the rock to fall on me so that I could wake from my slumber, and cry out to Him. For I knew God all to well to allow what was consuming to take hold. God had always been my refuge, fortress, and stength. Then when my heart was broken into a million pieces I would not allow God to take it. So He did what He and was needed!!
